Sport Changes Lives

Sport builds strength, confidence and lifelong friendships. It fights disease and depression. It transcends language, nationality and race. Sport has the power to transform us all. We see a future where sport and fitness help us all to have fun, reach our potential and live better lives.

The adidas Group also uses sport as a tool to change our shared culture for the better. The adidas Fund joins forces with international NGOs like Promo Jeune Basket, an organization that uses basketball to enrich the lives of young people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

We’re also working hard to remove barriers to progress for U.S. high schools that need help bringing their athletic culture in line with their values. And through our partnership with Parley for the Oceans, we have debuted the first shoe with an upper composed entirely of recycled ocean plastic.
